I've been doing a daily blog post for about 2 weeks now, and I think it's time to sort of take stock of what I've been doing and come up with a plan for what I want to do. My approach has been to pick some random aspect of the day and just let my stream of consciousness handle the rest. I think the problem with that is the inconsistency. Some days I can get a really good blog post that feels great to write, while other days I feel like I'm slogging through. You can't really control which rivers flow into the stream, or at least I'm not able to yet. Furthermore, deciding on the aspect for the day can turn into some analysis-paralysis-type of situation too. I'm liking the idea of talking about one single consistent thing every day before devolving into the stream. Probably whatever book I'm reading. Of course, this could also just be a made-up problem stemming from my desire to "find a niche"; another made up problem stemming from the human urge to fit everything into one single all-encompassing box.

As for what I want to do, improve the actual website takes top priority. Right now, I'm using a cool blog template I found from a YouTube video. It looks very nice, and while I was able to modify it a little bit by changing the theme, it's still not "me." After all, I have 90% of a computer science education under my belt, and I'll be damned if I don't at least use it for something. I will try to take a serious crack at this on Wednesday.
