Read a little over 2 more chapters of The Brothers Karamzov today. The book itself contains 12 smaller books, which I'll refer to as sections, and each section is then split up into chapters. The current section I'm reading deals almost exclusively with Dmitry Karamzov, one of the three titular brothers: it follows all the events surrounding the central tragedy that takes place in the brother's lives. The tension has been really starting to pick up now, and I found myself engrossed in the unfolding circumstances. Even though these chapters were rather long, I devoured them. I want to read a little more too before bed.
With regards to real life, I went to the gym and ate at this really good ramen place after. I spend a good chunck of my income on going out to eat; it's the only real thing I've been spending money on as of late. Perhaps it can be considered a vice, but I don't wish to stop it. I find that going out to eat is one of life's greatest pleasures, and I refuse to deprive myself of it. Money is meant to be spent after all. Saving money will never make you rich — you just have to make more. YouTube recommended me this great Halo 3 montage today. I believe I've mentioned in the past that Halo 3 was how I spent much of my childhood. I used to watch Dutchy's montages on the FBWalshyFTW channel. Well Dutchy and some other Halo 3 montagers posted a modern-day work of art a few days ago. Reading the description, this montage acts as a sort of final goodbye from these creators to the perfect first-person-shooter that defined the golden era of gaming. They're definitely going out with a bang, as this was easily the best montage I've yet to see. A bittersweet reminder that life goes on, and you have no choice but to move with it; something I find myself needing from time to time.
P.S. I guess I lied about editing my site. I'll get to it.
